Clustering coefficient and topological overlap. (a) Global clustering coefficient of the network and (b) average final overlap of added edges as a function of aggregation time, for the first 2 months. The global clustering coefficient is computed as the number of triangles divided by the number of connected triplets. For the overlap, we calculate the final overlap of edges in the 6-month aggregated network, and average over the final overlap values of newly added links at each time point.
