Emotional range for different categories of news. For each sample (baseline (left panel) vs vaccine (right panel)), we quantified the distribution of emotional values from −1 to 1, respectively for tweets containing reliable news (top), unreliable news (middle) or just comments without sources (bottom). All the distribution have been tested through a Kolmogrov-Smirnov Test in order to evaluate the difference among the samples and across categories of news considered. The distribution are statistically significant at the 95% of confidence level with a p-value lower than 0.01 among the two samples and within the same sample, with the only exception of tweets containing unreliable news and reliable news in the Baseline sample, having a p-value equal to 0.22
