The black thick vertical line indicates the \(R^{2}\) value for the distance exponent, \(\gamma _{\mathrm{s}}\), when using the whole set of data for each city. (b) The same results as in (a) are presented but by separating the cases with \(k+k'>11\) (pink plots) from the other cases with \(k+k'\leq 11\) (blue plots)
