From: Bayesian inference of transition matrices from incomplete graph data with a topological prior
Steps in the analysis of network data. The first step is the inference of the transition matrix from the network data. In the second step, the transition matrix is used to detect the important nodes, relevant clusters and other interesting features of the system. The goals of our work are to extend the network inference to use the topological constraints, to investigate the robustness of the new method to partial knowledge of the constraints, and to investigate whether this improves downstream analysis tasks
