Histogram of the number of posts made by bots. We took bots from the 11th of December, and the two histograms separate the activity of those that were already present in the discussion the 6th of December (persisting bots) from the new entries (new bots). Almost 40% of those of the 6th of December are still in the discussion, and their average activity is almost stable from the two dates. The old users’ activity is much higher, so the effect of the less activity is only caused by the new bots’ behaviour
