Authority and salience in conversation by roles. The authority of users is measured as the number of RTs received; salience is measured as the number of mentions received. The random benchmark is based on 1,000 permutations randomizing role assignment. The 95% confidence intervals are based on bootstrapped percentiles. Only the HM scheme is able to differentiate roles that are significantly associated to higher authority and salience in conversation.
